Patchouli Oil P300.2
Patchouli Oil is obtained by steam distillation of dried Patchouli leaves (source: Pogostemon Cablin Benth). It has flavour applications (F&B) but is perhaps better known for its fragrance applications (aromatherapy, cosmetics and personal care). It is known to be beneficial for both the body and the mind, and is beneficial for the skin (reducing wrinkles and skin imperfections). It is often used as an ingredient in perfums. Patchouli Oil is a yellow brown to reddish brown oily liquid, and has a woody, balsamic, sweet and slighly green odour.
